Liverpool Reads Management Committee

	In order to operate, Liverpool Reads needs at least 4 Management Committee members. These people will not be acting as representatives of organisations but as individuals with joint legal responsibility for the management and finances of Liverpool Reads. The initial posts that need to be filled are those of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. If, however, there is someone that you would like to nominate to cover another important area, such as Marketing or Fundraising, then there are up to four additional places on the Committee that may also be filled. The responsibilities of the Management Committee members are outlined in the draft Constitution document. There will also be three subcommittees dealing with specific issues (see Proposed Structure document), which will report to the Management Committee. The position of Treasurer is particularly difficult to fill, as the person must have sound financial management skills. If you know anyone that might be suitable and interested, please ask them if they would consider being nominated.
